How To Make The Perfect Hollandaise Sauce
People often think that making eggs benedict, or eggs florentine, can be a complicated, lengthy process. Making poached eggs are hard enough (if you want to get them just right), and the hollandaise sauce doesn’t seem like it should be the easiest to make.
But that isn’t true, and here is how to easily make a perfect hollandaise sauce:
Ingredients:
3 egg yolks
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp dijon mustard
1/4 tsp salt
A pinch of cayenne pepper
65g melted butter
To make:
Melt the butter in a microwave until hot.
Combine the egg yolks, dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt and cayenne pepper and blend for 5 seconds.
As the blender is running, add the hot butter gradually.
Pour the sauce into a small bown and drizzle over your meal.
